Project meetings were held on 23rd and 24th November 2016 in the premises of the University of Dubrovnik, Institute for Marine and Coastal Research. Representatives of the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia – HHI and the University of Dubrovnik – Institute for Marine and Coastal Research – IMP were at the meeting.
On the meetings partners discussed about further complicated procedures for the purchase of the equipment, the current situation regarding the project implementation, implemented activities, plans, and accomplishment of the upcoming activities.
Representatives of the Institute for Marine and Coastal Research together with HHI is preparing documents for the procurement of valuable equipment such as multiparameter probe, herbarium equipment and spectrophotometer with all additional equipment. Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia has conducted complex competitive negotiation procedures for the purchase of the Side scan sonar and Directional wave rider buoy.
All equipment will be used for hydrographic and oceanographic research which will be in performed in the first half of the 2017 in Dubrovnik aquatorium, area of the Neretva River Delta (approach to port Ploče, junction of Baćina lakes and sea), the delta of the river Bojana, beach Sutomorska and Mogren.
